Marvin Lewis steals Coach of The Year Award

Okay I get it. Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis wins Coach of The Year....out of sympathy. Sorry AP, but that shouldn't count for anything. God bless the late Chris Henry and defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer's wife. Those are two tragedies no team, person, family, should ever have to go through.

That being said, Marvin Lewis shouldn't even be an NFL head coach. Yeah, I said it. Look at his record since starting out with Cincy:

2003: 8-8

2004: 8-8

2005: 11-5

2006: 8-8

2007: 7-9

Darrelle Revis: The REAL Defensive Player of The Year

Chris Sax of BleacherReport.com writes:

No one on defense was more important to their team than Darrelle Revis was to the New York Jets this past season. That's what I expect from a Defensive Player of the Year award. It's the most valuable defensive player.

Don't get me wrong, Charles Woodson had an awesome year with a league leading nine interceptions, and I don't want to take anything away from him....except his DPOY trophy.

NFL Wild Card Weekend Rapid Recap with Ron Johnson

Our good friend and BleacherBrothers.com columnist Ron Johnson recaps the NFL Wild Card weekend in Last Call. No, folks. He's hotter than Carson Daly. Deal with it.

This Rapid Recap includes Jets-Bengals, Cowboys-Eagles, Ravens-Patriots, and Cardinals-Packers!

Ode to Chad Ochocinco

Here is our ode to Chad Ochocinco, since he may allegedly revert back to the alias of Chad Johnson, following the Cincinnati Bengals' loss to the New York Jets and being trapped on Revis Island.

Don't do it, Chad. I know you kissed the baby, but CHILD PLEASE!

Ravens and Jets clinch

On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets clinched the two Wild Card spots in the AFC. The Ravens defeated the Oakland Raiders in a tough game by the final score 21-13. Meanwhile, the Jets surprisingly had a much easier outing against what was supposed to be the tougher opponent—the Cincinnati Bengals. Gang Green destroyed them 37-0.

The 2010 NFL Pro Bowl Snubs

by Daniel Wolf of BleacherReport.com

Every year there are many talented NFL players that get chosen to represent their team in the Pro Bowl based on individual performances.

Unfortunately, there are many players that make the team just based on popularity, even though they do not have as strong of a statistical performance as other players who get snubbed from playing with the best of the best.

The following is just one journalist's opinion on which players got snubbed from going to the annual game.

Bengals have lost their passing touch

By JOE KAY
AP Sports Writer

CINCINNATI — Chad Ochocinco walked into the Cincinnati Bengals’ locker room on Monday afternoon wearing a gray sweatsuit and black slippers, talking to someone on a shiny gold cell phone.

Care to chat about the Bengals’ offense?

“Nothing to talk about,” he said, before heading for the door.

When it comes to Cincinnati’s passing game, there’s really not much to say.
