Interview

The Ring of Combat Experience

The Sports Courier had the great pleasure to check out Ring of Combat XXVIII this past Friday night in Atlantic City, NJ. In the process, we took some cool photos, met people that trained with everyone from Royce Gracie to Matt Serra, and even saw our old buddy Bill Scott, as he accompanied his student Ryan Vaccaro, who was victorious in his fight against Adam Ward. Not to mention, the fights were spectacular.

TSC Interviews: UFC Hall of Famer Dan "The Beast" Severn

I feel bad for people that don't really know about Dan "The Beast" Severn. He was a beast long before Bob Sapp was (a lot more athletic too). He could out-wrestle many of his opponents. Hell, he still could today.

Severn may be a few years north of age 50, but The Beast continues to fight, as well as tour the country, showcasing his skills and passing them along to any upstart that's willing to listen and learn.

Exclusive: Ralph Nader on Politics, Tim Donaghy, and Sports in America

(c) 2009 The Sports Courier

Ralph Nader is a former Presidential candidate and one of the most prominent politicians of his generation, but no one would know it. While he is cool, calm, collected, and always sharply dressed, Nader is essentially what all politicians are not—aware, concerned, and for the people.

TSC Interviews: Former WCW/WWE star Buff Bagwell

Marcus "Buff" Bagwell has been a lightning rod of controversy. People within the pro wrestling business either love him or hate him. Regardless on how you feel about him, the man is an accomplished wrestler, having spent a decade in World Championship Wrestling, winning the World Tag Team Championship on five occasions.

Following Vince McMahon's purchase of WCW from AOL Time Warner, Buff wrestled in WWE (then the WWF) for about a week before getting released under shady circumstances.

TSC Interviews: Matt "The Hammer" Hamill

UFC fighter Matt Hamill knows what it takes to break down barriers and do his thing in MMA. Being deaf never stopped him. Injuries and losses haven't either. A real American Hero indeed.

In this video, Hamill talks to TheSportsCourier.com's Fred Richani and Pat Cyckowski about his beginnings, working with Tito Ortiz in The Ultimate Fighter, and what's next for the inspirational athlete they call The Hammer!

Hit The Ropes interviews TNA's Chris Sabin of Motor City Machine Guns

In addition to presenting Chris Sabin with the More TV Time Please Award, The Motor City Machine Gun talked about Hulk Hogan to TNA, the arrival of Generation Me (Young Bucks), his band, which wrestlers he likes to watch and so much more.
