* There were rumblings about possibly having Goldberg be a surprise entrant in the 2010 Royal Rumble but officials thought that the sight of Goldberg in a WWE would spook Bret Hart.

Editor's note: This DOES NOT reflect The Sports Courier's views. In fact, the only "sports" personality I can't stand is WWE Raw announcer Michael Cole. He ruins my Monday nights! And he's not even on this list! Okay, I'm done.

Tonight we get the sixth installment of the WWE's Slammy Awards on a
special three-hour episode of RAW. This is the first of two three-hour RAW specials that will occur within the next three weeks. The Slammy show is hosted by comedian and radio show host Dennis Miller. A shame that Chris Jericho and Matt Striker aren't on RAW to match wits with Miller.

WWE has hyped Survivor Series pretty well this year. Well..sort of. I love what they've done with the traditional Survivor Series elimination matches, but the WWE Championship triple threat build up has been extremely suspect at best. Regardless of all that, this card looks damn good on paper and definitely a lot better than last year's lackluster showing by far. It's time to preview and predict Survivor Series 2009!

WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper returns to The Mecca of Wrestling, Madison Square Garden to host Monday Night Raw.

On tap for the evening will be a Divas Championship match (yawn) between Mickie James and Alicia Fox. Also, new Raw theme song "Burn It to the Ground" by Nickelback debuts this Monday, replacing "I Just Want to Be Loved" by Papa Roach.
