I feel bad for people that don't really know about Dan "The Beast" Severn. He was a beast long before Bob Sapp was (a lot more athletic too). He could out-wrestle many of his opponents. Hell, he still could today.

Severn may be a few years north of age 50, but The Beast continues to fight, as well as tour the country, showcasing his skills and passing them along to any upstart that's willing to listen and learn.

Every Olympics has its good, bad and ugly stories. The Vancouver Olympics and the way things are being run received so much negative press over the past two weeks. The Brits were slaughtering the organizers and the weather hasn't altogether been cooperating. Mild and wet is not what winter is about. But I couldn't wait for hockey.

US Figure skater Evan Lysacek got the gold medal in Men Figure skating today. Russia's Gold Medalist Yevgeny Plushenko just didn,t have it tonight. He was short less then 1.5 points to get the gold. He made a few mistakes which cost him the medal.

It was a very good day for USA today. Three Gold Medals and two of the Gold medalists win for the second time in the row. Snowboarder Shaun White and Speed skater Shani Davis took their second gold medals home today. In Men's Half Pipe USA received two medals, Gold and Bronze. With today's competition over it bring the US medal count up to 14 including five Gold Medals, which keeps USA in the lead for top medal count.
