According to WrestlingObserver.com, the following WWE superstars and legends are scheduled for the 1,000th episode of Monday Night Raw on July 23 in St. Louis, MO:
Bret Hart, The Rock (who may make a major announcement on his WWE Title hopes and WrestleMania), Mick Foley, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, and Shawn Michaels (as part of a DX reunion).
Rey Mysterio is rumored to be appearing, following his 60 day wellness suspension (St. Louis native Randy Orton's suspension ends a couple of weeks after July 23).
Other superstars and legends rumored/expected to appear on the three hour Raw (the first of the permanent move to the show's extended runtime) include: Tammy "Sunny" Sytch, Diamond Dallas Page (DDP), Booker T, Jim Ross, Steve Blackman, Gene Okerlund, Sgt. Slaughter, Iron Sheik, Jimmy Hart, Ron Simmons, Vince McMahon.
Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reports that there is strong movement behind the scenes to get The Undertaker on the show as well for a one-time appearance, before his scheduled part-time on air return next WrestleMania season.
The Lesnar vs. HHH SummerSlam 2012 pay-per-view main event will be made official during the show, which is expected to do its highest ratings this year.
WWE also launches its #RAWActive social media campaign that night, complete with polls, videos from the service it just invested in called Tout, among fan interaction via other online platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
