TNA President Dixie Carter comes out to the ring and thanks the largest live crowd in TNA U.S. history

Crowd chants THANK YOU, DIXIE. Dixie says no, thank you. She thanks Spike TV, the Jarretts, her parents, etc. She said most importantly, thank you to the fans. She said they loved the word wrestling and are very proud of it. She thanks the wrestlers of TNA and says they're the greatest in the world. All the TNA wrestlers come out on stage. Not sure I'd do this in the middle of the show, where guys could potentially break character, but a cool visual nonetheless. Dixie thanks the wrestlers on stage. She introduces the first inductee of the TNA Hall of Fame.

Sting is inducted to the TNA Hall of Fame

We get a video package for Sting. Great choice, but considering he's competing tonight, maybe Jeff Jarrett should have been the first inductee. But if they wanted to induct a star a kick it off with a bang, Sting is the right guy. All that aside, they show a really great video package that highlights what Sting means to this group of guys. If it wasn't for his joker facepaint, you'd probably see tears streaming down his face. He gives Dixie a hug in the ring and gets a THANK YOU, STING chant. Dixie says "everywhere we go, you get that response." Then in a bizarre moment, the crowd chants "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!" I'm not sure if that's good or bad since that's a Daniel Bryan chant, but this crowd's been phenomenal tonight.

Dixie says at Bound For Glory in October, they'll have the formal induction. Nice little nugget of info there. Sting says he wasn't prepared for this. Sting says thank you to Dixie, thank you to the TNA stars, and does a mini THANK YOU chant for the fans. He say tonight, IT'S SHOWTIME.
