LAS VEGAS, NV--According to WrestlingObserver.com, former WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown (25-8) announced his retirement from mixed martial arts, following his unanimous decision win over rising prospect Daniel Pineda at UFC 146 on Saturday night.

Former featherweight champion Mike Brown, after his win over Daniel Pineda earlier today, announced his retirement. Brown had two wins over Urijah Faber, the second in one of the biggest fights in WEC history, but had struggled since losing his title to Jose Aldo Jr.
