According to WrestlingObserver.com, former WCW World Tag Team Champion Marcus "Buff" Bagwell is currently in intensive care after a serious car accident last night.

Via Wrestling Observer as per Karl Stern:

According to sources, the accident is confirmed and happened last night, not earlier today. Bagwell's jeep reportedly flipped over eight or nine times, leaving him with a broken neck and reports are his jaw has been wired shut and will be that way for at least six months.

Bagwell is very lucky to be alive and is rumored to be in intensive care. He has a long, tough road ahead of him. Bagwell broke his neck back in 1998 in a botched spot with Rick Steiner. He later made a full recovery.

The multi-time WCW Tag Team Champion is most famous for his alliance with the New World Order (NWO) in WCW back in the late-1990s.

We send our best wishes to Bagwell and his family. Stay strong, Buff.

Update 4/25/12: TMZ reports Bagwell called his wife his wife saying he thought he was going to have a seizure while driving. It's nearly the 15 year anniversary of Bagwell breaking his neck in WCW. Once again, we wish the Bagwell family all the best during this incredibly tough time.
