Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced during the 1,000th episode of Monday Night Raw that on the 26th annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 27, he will challenge the WWE Champion. 

That's right. The Rock vs. whoever the WWE Champion is for all the gold at next year's royal Rumble, taking place at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Daniel Bryan is in the ring mad as all hell. WWE Champion CM Punk comes out. Punk says that he's going to continue to be the best in the world. Bryan says he's not only better, he's the greatest of all time.

The Rock comes out! says that Bryan has no say who the greatest of all time is. He says the fans get the say. Things heat up with the two, Rock calls Bryan Frodo. Rock says he's here to talk about the WWE Championship. Rock says that The Rock will face whoever is WWE Champion at Royal Rumble. Punk vows that he will be that man to face The Rock at Royal Rumble. Bryan interjects saying he will be the man, and the face of the WWE.

Rock delivers a Rock Bottom to Daniel Bryan for his troubles.
