Jeff Lacy responds to Nick Diaz: I'm not scared, homey
Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz may not permanently leave MMA, but he has reworked his contract to pursue a boxing match. His current opponent of choice? Boxing veteran Jeff Lacy.
Via a statement, Lacy says "Nick [Diaz] has accomplished a great deal in mixed martial arts and is certainly one of the best in the sport. But getting in the ring with me for a boxing match is a path he needs to be very wary of taking. I'm willing to put it all on the line anytime, anywhere."
Apparently Lacy is even willing to fight Diaz in MMA, which is something he should consult James Toney about.
