Wrestling legend James "Kamala" Harris has suffered from diabetes in the worst way. He's had both legs amputated below the knees. And he's the victim of an apparent charity called Wrestlers Rescue, among other independent promotions using his name to profit under the guise of fundraising. The keyword: guise. 

The money these organizations claimed to be raising for the legend did not go to the man fans know as the Ugandan Giant. Nope. Instead, it went to their pockets.

Update: 8/1/12 - The promoter of MWF, which is the other organization Kamala calls out, claims he sent a check to Kamala via the Cauilflower Alley Club. His name is Dan Mirade and by the looks of the photo he posted of the check he sent out, it's up to CAC to get it to Kamala. It could be a misunderstanding, but then wouldn't Harris have been notified his name was being used by Mirade? Mirade writes a long blog to go along with the photo, claiming there's more to the story than meets the eye. Unfortunately, he uses some rather questionable language describing Harris. As for Wrestlers Rescue and former WWE Diva Dawn Marie who runs the organization, they have yet to respond to Harris' claims.
