WWE did an injury angle on Monday Night RAW, which saw WWE Champion CM Punk give Christian the GTS onto steel steps, after Chris Jericho cut another "via satellite" promo dissing Punk's family Christian tried to attack him from behind, but he (kayfabe) didn't get the best of Punk.

This led to the announcers saying Christian isn't medically cleared (he may not be in real life) and replacing him for Team John Laurinaitis at WrestleMania XXVIII would be....

Drew McIntyre.

Yes, the guy that's won two matches the last year. God bless Vince McMahon giving misused midcarders a pay day, I guess. Earlier in the show, the final spot on Team Johnny was filled by The Miz, so looks like he'll get his WrestleMania pay day after all, while poor Christian and Alberto Del Rio (who I believe is healthy) will be on the sidelines. Sucks to be them.

Team Johnny consists of: The Miz, Drew McIntyre, David Otunga, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry. Vickie Guerrero is the official flag bearer. Whatever that means.

Team Teddy Long consists of: Booker T, Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, Great Khali, R-Truth.

Rey Mysterio and/or Sin Cara were heavily rumored to be on Team Teddy, but obviously, it looks like both aren't physically ready to return and this match isn't worth risking further injury.  

The winning team's GM gets control of both RAW and Smackdown. Contain your excitement.
