Lightweight fight with title implications booked for UFC on FOX 1

We could have a new no. one contender on November 12...

Dana White just confirmed via text that Ben Henderson vs. Clay Guida for a lightweight title shot has been added to the November 12 UFC on FOX show in Anaheim.

Both fighters had been campaigning hard for this fight and it looks like they'll get their wish. Melvin Guillard's the real loser here, who settled for MMA veteran Joe Lauzon at UFC 136, rather than calling out Guida when he had a chance. Then again, if Guillard wins, he too could be next in line following the winner of Guida/Henderson. 

How long he'd have to wait though, is another issue itself.
