Instead of awe and excitement, there were Facebook statuses stating that the fight was boring and another that stated it need a "Mayweather run-in." In the end, Manny Pacquiao defeated Joshua Clottey via Unanimous Decision.
While 50,000 plus fans in Dallas chanted "Man-ny," fans at home were chanting "Mon-ey!"
Will we ever get to see the true blockbuster fight between Manny and Money Mayweather? Maybe not.
Manny Pacquiao will be running for office soon in the Philippines and Floyd Mayweather has to take on a huge threat in Shane Mosley in two months. Should both fighters defeat their next opponent, there is still hope for a mega fight to close out 2010.
Until then, nothing has changed. Pacman dominates, and fans are still left asking for more.
