New Moon Rising Wrestling presents...."New Beginnings, Old Endings"

Woodbury, NJ. - American Legion Post

A short while ago,  I had the pleasure of appearing and working for the Monster Factory's New Moon Rising Wrestling. Over one hundred rabid fans jam-packed the American Legion Post in Woodbury, NJ. for an action-packed afternoon of great pro wrestling action. For any readers that may not know, I am also a referee in the business, and that was the job I was assigned that weekend. Aside from my unfortunate run in with the 900+ pound Nigerian Nightmares at the end of their tag team title defense, the show went off without a hitch. I need to learn how to exit the ring as quickly as possible after a Nightmares match.

On my official Youtube channel you will find other matches of theirs that I've officiated that didn't turn out too well for me in the end. In any event, my wounds are slowly healing, and I'm coming up with a way to avoid these behemoths at any and all future events! I would like to say thank you to "Prettyboy" Larry Sharpe and Jake Bishop for the opportunity. Can't wait to do it again! Below are the complete match results from this past Saturday's event.

Mik Reed def. Shaheem Ali

Marc Cruz def. Mike Spanos

Robert Knight presented his "Knight Court" segment where he interviewed Harold Boyer. Boyer was attacked during the interview by the Masked Assassin...which turned into an impromptu match-up.

Harold Boyer def. The Masked Assassin

The Untouchables def. The Empire's Blackie & Ty Reno, accompanied by "The Empress" Simply Devine

LJ Cruz made his NMRW debut in a winning effort vs. Marc Angel

Ron Starr (w/Simply Devine) def. Mozart Fontain

American Roughneck def. Justin America after a reversal of the decision.
*Justin America originally won. After the match, Justin and members of the ME Society jumped American Roughneck and refused to stop...forcing the referees and security to flood the ring. The Commissioner appeared and reversed the decision before throwing the ME Society out of the building.

NMRW Tag Team Championship: (DOUBLE DQ)
Nigerian Nightmares {c} vs. Havoc & AC
*This match was thrown out after The Untouchables, who have unfinished business with the Nightmares, rushed the ring and laid out both teams with the title belts. This was the reason for the Nightmares squashing me with their super-human DDT/splash combo. A referee's job is hard, but somebody's gotta do it.

NMRW World Championship:
"The Punisher" Luis Martinez def. "X Dogg" Jake Bishop to become the NEW NMRW World Heavyweight champion.
