Photo/Video of The Day: Big Mac comes clean

Finally, five years after being exposed during a Congressional hearing for steroids and other performance enhancing drugs, St. Louis Cardinals hitting coach and former home run king Mark McGwire admitted on Monday that he took steroids during his career. Now please, let's stop killing these big stars and take the Steroid Era for what it was.
I hate drugs and the Steroid Era's aftermath, but you can't punish the big stars and leave them out of the Hall of Fame when there are probably pitchers and minor leaguers that juiced just as much, if not more often. Barry Bonds' head grew a few inches throughout his career, yet the media turned a blind eye to that, calling him "the greatest ever." Now they don't want a part of him.
I'm already accepting the era as just a part of baseball that was fun to watch, but not the greatest by any means when it comes to moral standards or for the sake of the game. I'm done with the Steroid Era. Big Mac, you were wrong and you'll pay whatever consequences via your health and reputation. wait, his reputation was already diminished beyond belief...
