Lightweight bout: Bobby Green vs. Matt Ricehouse

Green had a troubled past, being in foster care since age four, but he's gotten through it and is now fighting under the Zuffa banner. Green passing out paper crowns and American flags to the crowd. 

Round One:

Body kick by Green. Tripped up. Ricehouse hits him with a leg kick. And another. Front kick by Green misses. Good combo and muay thai knee by Green. Another thai plumb and knee to the head by Green. Ricehouse with a one-two combo. They trade leg kicks. Uppercut by Ricehouse. Green doing a good job keeping Ricehouse against the cage. Body shot by Ricehouse. Body kick by Ricehouse. Inside leg kick by Ricehouse. Ricehouse is dropped by Green. Uppercuts. Ricehouse trying to regain his composure. Punches and knees. Ricehouse briefly ties him up. They break.

Green lets up, but waits for his opening. Head kick by Ricehouse. High kick by Ricehouse blocked. Accidental knee to the groin by Green. Ricehouse resumes action quickly. Front kick by ricehouse misses. Ricehouse's kick caught. Green takes him down into side control, then north-south. Ricehouse gets up. Clinch. End of round. Good opening round. 

10-9 Green

Round Two:

Combo and leg kick by Ricehouse, but only the kick lands. Clinch and knee grazes Ricehouse. Leg kick and high kick by Ricehouse. Ricehouse doesn't get the takedown. Body shot and knee by Green. They briefly tie up and break. Knee to Green's ribs. Green presses him against the cage. Knees to Ricehouse's body. They break. Leg kick by Riccehouse. Right hand by ricehouse, followed by a knee to the body. Green puts his hands down and shrugs his shoulders Nick Diaz style. Kind of risky, dude. As I type that, Green starts engaging and opening up. Stiff jab by Green. And another.

Uppercut by Green. Left hand and knee to body by Ricehouse. Ricehouse's takedown attempt blocked and he eats a knee to the head. Clinch against the cage. Green has the body lock, then attempts to get his back. Ricehouse dragged down. Back mount on Riceehouse. Ricehouse escapes and presses Green against the cage.
