Official Decision: Anthony Smith (17-7) def. Lumumba Sayers (6-2) via submission (triangle choke) at 3:52 of Round One.
Smith tells Ranallo he slipped, but was comfortable on his back. He says his triangle choke is his trademark and that he's now training in California, but still trains in Nebraska with UFC welterweight Jake Ellenberger. He says he was young, made stupid mistakes, but has a family now and is more responsible.
