Bantamweight Championship bout: "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey (C) vs. Sarah Kaufman

Round One:

Rousey gets a superstar reaction. Tate is the former champion, whose only loss is to Marloes Coenen via submission a couple years ago. Rousey is undefeated, has won every fight by armbar, and has never been out of the first round. Herb Dean is our referee. We need "Big" John MvCarthy. Both fighters touch gloves.

Here we go. Rousey comes out swinging. She presses Kaufman against the cage and takes her down. Full mount and armbar attempt within 30 seconds in the fight. Wow. Kaufman is no joke either. Kaufman taps out. Holy hell. That is it. We are witnessing an MMA phenom. Six wins. Six finishes via armbar. She made a former champ look like nothing. So who can beat this woman?

Official Decision: Ronda Rousey (6-1) def. Sarah Kaufman (15-2) via submission (armbar) at :54 of Round One.

Rousey calls out Cris Cyborg and says go down to 135lbs and take the first fair fight of your life. Wow. She says she'll fight her in the parking lot. Ranallo asks her if she wants Cyborg and she says "Was the first part not clear enough?" She says her mom would wake her up and make her do armbars. She thanks Team Cesar Geacie and Kaufman.

Overall, one hell of an action card from Zuffa's Strikeforce brand. There really wasn't a remotely boring fight tonight. Rousey is the queen of MMA. With UFC President Dana White in attendance tonight, I'd imagine he concurs.
