TNA Hardcore Justice 2012 Results

Hilarious botched spot. Storm and Hardy tried to doublesuplex Ray. Robbie E was supposed to move the table out of the way. He moved it an inch. Ray caught the corner of the table. Crowd chanted "You F'ed up." What do three veterans of professional wrestling do as Bully Ray is writhing in pain in the middle of a match? If you guessed "keep going and go with the flow," you thought wrong. They stared at each other like deers in headlights until Ray audibly screamed KEEP GOING!!! Wrestling's predetermined, everybody. Ray got the win via powerbomb through the table on Hardy.

Winner of 20 BFG points: Bully Ray

5. TNA X-Division Championship: Zema Ion (c) vs. Kenny King

Solid back and forth match with the crowd behind King. Ion got the win after he reversed King's pin attempt and hit a backbreaker. Ion's not great, but he's improved immensely since last year.

Winner and still TNA X-Division Champion: Zema Ion

6. Ladder match (Bound For Glory Series - Winner gets 20 points): AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle

Match of the night at this point and it's not even close. We had high spots, people falling off ladders, the works. Christy Hemme keeps calling Daniels and Kazarian the World Tag Team Champions of the world. Let's see if you caught that like we did...Speaking of Daniels, he went through hell in the match to put on a show.

Finish came when Joe knocked Angle off the ladder, but Styles springboarded and got the legally binding-ish TNA document that secures him 20 points.

Winner of 20 BFG points: AJ Styles

Claire Lynch be damned!

7. TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Austin Aries (C) vs. Bobby Roode

Recap by JGeorge Estrella:

Here we go. Remember: the loser cannot get a rematch as long as the winner is still TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Fantastic match here. I'd say better than their previous bout at Destination X. Roode takes out ref Brian Hebner and Aries accidentally takes out ref as well. Stifler? Finish saw Roode hit a superplex, but both men pinned each other ala Bryan/Punk from earlier this year. There is debate amongst the two referees as to who is the rightful winner.

Senior Referee and resident PIMP Earl Hebner comes out and restarts the match. Aries hits a suicide dive knocking himself out. Roode goes for a cover, but a close two count is all he gets. Roode sets up for a Pay Off, but is quickly reversed by Aries into school boy cover for the win!

Winner and still TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Austin Aries

Nott a bad show by any means, with the main event a semi-main delivering and then some. Overall from top to bottom, not the caliber of the last couple of TNA PPVs though.
