UFC President Dana White confirmed on Tuesday that both UFC 153's main event and co-main event have fallen apart due to injuries.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is out of his fight against up-and-comer Glover Teixeira. Worst of all, the Brazilian fans attending the HSBC Arena in Rio and those ordering on PPV Oct. 13, also lost their main event of Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar for the UFC featherweight championship.
Now Aldo is out with foot injury. Main and co main in the same day!! Another amazing day at the UFC. We have some work to do

MMAFighting.com reports Jackson suffered an elbow injury, while Aldo is believed to have been injured from a recent motorcycle accident. Yes, the champ was riding a motorcycle a few weeks before his fight. To cap things off, UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta:
@danawhite thanks for waking me up in India at 5am with all the good news.
