Fight of the Night so far. Great standup and submission exchanges between the two 135lbers. Round One was definitely 10-9 McDonald, while Round Two could be anyone's taking.
Round Three: McDonald answers with a couple of big takedowns. This is McDonald's round. Crowd gives both fighters a standing ovation as both fighters embrace. Great fight.
Official decision: Michael McDonald def. Edwin Figueroa (now 7-1) by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). McDonald improves to 12-1.
