UFC Live 6: Cruz vs. Johnson Live Coverage and Results

Neer puts over Keith as a tough guy. Neer says he wasn't surprised the fight was stopped, considering all the blood all over the floor that he almost slipped on. He says his ribs arne't broken and denied saying that. Rogan tells him they have the footage and Neer cracks a smile and denies it again. Neer dedicates the fight to his grandpa, who is stricken with cancer. Classy post-fight promo by Neer. This is his fifth straight win. Welcome back, Neer.

Lightweight bout: Shane Roller vs. TJ Grant

ROUND ONE:

The ref is Fernando Yamasaki and he sounds like Mario. The announcers debate if he is Mario or related to him. Mike Goldberg mentions he sounds like him. Creepy. Roller is trying to bounce back from a devastating knockout loss to Melvin Guillard. Nice uppercut by Roller. Grant takes Roller down. Roller tries to lock in the guillotine. Grant spins his hips and rolls out. He ends up on top of Roller again and escapes the guillotine. Roller reverses position and could've gotten a one-arm choke but didn't.

Grant gets top position and starts getting some short distances elbows and body shots in. Grant is trying to get into side control. Roller still working for that choke. Roller trying to get back to his feet. He's on his knees with his right arm trapped in Grant's underhooks. Nice control by Grant.

10-9 Grant

ROUND TWO:

Crazy back and forth round. Nice exchanges on the ground. Grant had like three guillotine attempts. Grant tried to gain control on the ground, but Roller reversed postion before the round was over. In the last 10 seconds, Grant almost locks in the armbar off his back. Yes, the recap for Round Two accidentally didn't save. Computers suck sometimes.

10-9 Roller

ROUND THREE:

Nice exchange by both fighters. Roller working for the takedown but gets stuffed. Grant gets taken down, but gets him in a TIGHT GUILLOTINE. Roller escapes. Armbar attempt by TJ Grant. It's all over.

BUT WAIT.....Roller was still defending and could have gotten out of it. Questionable stoppage. Second questionable stoppage in a row.

Official Decision: TJ Grant (17-5) def. Shane Roller (10-5) via armbar submission (verbal tapoout) at 2:12, Round Two.

Grant tells Rogan that Roller screamed in pain and ALL FIGHTERS ARE TOLD BEFORE THE FIGHT THAT THEY CAN'T DO THAT. Still a bad stoppage in my opinion, considering his HANDS WERE LOCKED. C'mon, Fake Yamasaki. Grant says his cut to 155lbs was the best he's ever had.

Roller tells Rogan he only grunted. Something tells me Dana White and Zuffa won't count this loss against Roller, who always fights his heart out. He gets a nice ovation. Fight of The Night minus the crappy stoppage thus far.

Bantamweight bout: Mike Easton vs. Byron Bloodworth

ROUND ONE:

Easton gets an incredible local reaction. Rogan calls it the loudest he's ever heard for a newcomer. Crowd is chanting "EASTON!" Easton looks like he's been training with Dominick Cruz. Oh wait--he has. They're actually good friend. Crowd is chanting "Let's go HULK!" That's Easton's nickname. Inside leg kicks by Bloodworth. Body kick. Bloodworth presses Easton against the cage. He reverses position. Knee to the body of Bloodworth. Ref breaks them up. Spinning back kick by Easton.

Leg kick by Bloodworth. Bloodworth tried a combo into a spinning elbow but to no avail. Front kick to Easton's body. Easton answers back. Knee to Easton's ribs. Nice sprawl by Easton. Leg kick by Easton. Easton is starting to loosen up.

10-9 Easton but real close so far. Easton's starting to get loose.

ROUND TWO:
