UFC re-signs two top contenders

Two exciting fighters not going anywhere anytime soon.

According to First Round Management's Malki Kawa, his clients, lightweight Ben Henderson (14-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and welterweight Carlos Condit (27-5 MMA, 4-1 UFC), have re-signed with the UFC.

Henderson, a former WEC lightweight champion, is coming off of a dominant win over previous top contender Jim Miler.

Condit, a former WEC welterweight champion, destroyed Dong Hyun Kim via TKO back at UFC 132 (KO of the Night) and is set to face MMA legend BJ Penn at UFC 137 on Oct. 29.

While Henderson has no opponent or fight schedule at this time, he along with Clay Guida, have been campaigning to face each other in a no. one contender's bout. Not a bad idea, Bendo.
