UFC signs Jake Shields
Looks like one former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion will end up in UFC after all.
Jake Shields (25-4-1) announced on GracieFighter.com Thursday night that he is signing with UFC as a welterweight. The 31-year-old left Strikeforce after the two sides couldn't reach an a agreement following his win over Dan Henderson at the promotion's Nashville, T.N. show in April.
Shields is currently on a 14-fight win streak and could possibly debut at UFC 121, although nothing is confirmed as of yet.
