WWE No Way Out 2012 Results
Sheamus goes up top. Ziggler catches him. Facebuster from the top. Sheamus could be concussed and Ziggler is selling his knee hurting. Ziggler went for sleeper and Sheamus counters with the Irish Curse backbreaker. Crowd boos. Sheamus does the 10 clubbing blows on the chest spot. Ziggler recovers and hops on for the sleeper. White Noise by Shemaus. Big boos for Sheamus. Sheamus does a Brogue Kick chant. He hits it. Pinfall. I'm highly disappointed it was that anti-climactic. Very good match with a bang bang bang rapid fire style, but it kills me to see such a talented guy do another job. Outside of the hot crowd, this really was no different than their recent matches on FREE TV. I doubt the crowd would've been hot if Alberto Del Rio was in Ziggler's place though.

WWE GM John Laurinaitis tries to convince concussed Vince McMahon not to come to the ring. Doesn't work. Josh Mathews tries to interview Laurinaitis but gets verbally dressed down for being an ex-wrestler and bad announcer. That went over the crowd's heads.

2. Tuxedo Match: WWE U.S. Champion Santino Marella vs. Ricardo Rodriguez
I love Santino, but get that U.S. TITLE OFF OF HIM. This was a match. Crowd chanted BORING. The announcers referenced every bad tuxedo match in the past. Santino won. He had Cobra socks. Ricardo had Alberto Del Rio underwear. No one cared.
Winner: SANTINO MARELLA
WWE Champion CM Punk does an interview backstage with Matt Striker. AJ Lee gives him a kiss on his cheek. Striker tries to interview AJ but she blows him off. Ben says everyone in attendance loves AJ. She's beautiful and a Jersey native. Who wouldn't?
3. WWE Intercontinental Championship: Christian (C) vs. Cody Rhodes
Let's see if WWE will job out Christian after appearing at TNA's last PPV. Rhodes seems like he hasn't been on TV for like a week. Maybe I DVR'ed too fast. I'm expecting this match to be a lot better than last month's encounter between the two. Rhodes no where near gets the ovation he received last November at Survivor Series in MSG. Ben texts me "a woman by me has a one-year-old. Stereotypical WWE 2012 fan." He's also not happy with the IC Title match coming after the World Title match. Welcome to WWE in 2012.
Good match that unfortunately didn't get the crowd going til the end, although they did pop for the big spots. Christian got the win via spear. Rhodes continues to hate his life. Storyline-wise of course.

4. Four Way Tag Team Match for no. one contendership: Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs. Usos vs. Primo and Epico
Did Booker T just call Titus O'Neil and Darren Young FRUIT BOOTYISH? A lil sweet? Be A Star, everybody.
Ridiculous. Three teams are marketable and fun to watch. One is generic and doesn't click with the crowd. Guess who won? Abraham Washington aka A.W. turns on Rosa Mendes' boys as Young got the pin. They attack Primo and Epico afterward. Lame.

Ben says that last match was good. Considering he watched it and I watch the NBA Finals, I'll concur for the hell of it.
5. WWE COO Triple H addresses Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar's lawsuits
Here comes HHH. He recaps Brock Lesnar breaking his arm and saying his arm is 100-percent . HHH says he's a fighter like you, Brock and I WANNA FIGHT YOU. I WANNA FIGHT YOU BAD. At SummerSlam. This gets a light pop. Crowd chants YES! Even that is mild. HHH says OR YOU CAN BE HAPPY BEING A QUITTER BROCK. I'LL BE WAITING. A RAW promo on a PPV. Great. This is what happens when you have a hot angle and book it like the top heel is leaving. Subpar.
Daniel Bryan is warming up and adorable AJ Lee tries to talk to him. She says she's not over him. Bryan doesn't care, but smiles when he gets a kiss on the cheek.
