WWE Over The Limit 2012: John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis Result
Cena looks sad....until Big Show returns as a fan and grabs Laurinaitis by the neck. He brings Lautinaitis to the ring. Remember, he's technically not a WWE superstar. Too bad Big Show's credibility was destroyed by Laurinaitis on RAW. Could this be the rumored heel turn? Laurinaitis is trying to get up but Big Show steps on his hang. This is being dragged out too long. Cena scares Laurinaitis, who runs into a Show choke. Big Show stares him down and instead knocks out Cena. Pinfall win for Laurinaitis, but not Lesnar. Unbelievable. Good payoff, but unfortunately, it's at the expense of a main event of a good PPV when it should've been the semi-main. And regardless of this being the right storyline move, Big Show still will be remembered as the whining, crying, begging, 450lb bitch, rather than the bad ass monster.
Side note: Show's firing on RAW gained over 1 million viewers for the segment last week.
No Lord Tensai or Sakamoto in sight. Could Tensai's push as Laurinaitis' muscle be over now? Could be with this heel turn, as well as him not appearing on the major shows this past week...
Winner and still GM: John Laurinaitis via Big Show's interference
Big Show raises Laurinaitis' hand in victory. Crowd seems indifferent. A flat ending to what was a good PPV.
