WELCOME, EVERYONE TO MONDAY NIGHT RAW.
Raw kicks off to an explosive start. WWE intercontinental Champion The Miz defends his title against Rey Mysterio at SummerSlam--in the pre-show.
We get right to the action with "The Giant" Big Show against the Second City Saint, WWE Champion CM Punk. Later tonight, it's the Triple H-Brock Lesnar contract signing.
1. Non-title match: WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Big Show
Punk tries to go blow for blow against Show, but his offense does not work. Big Show is dominating this match thus far. However, Punk is beginning to find an opening. Punk hits the Shining Wizard in the corner, but Show retaliates with a spear.
Daniel Bryan's music hits and goes over the announce table, saying that he deserves to be in the title match at SummerSlam. The match continues, but Bryan quickly steps in and takes out Punk, putting him in the No! Lock.
Winner: CM Punk via disqualification
Show takes it to Punk as well. John Cena makes the save. Say what you will about Cena, but the man can get the crowd HOT.
Raw GM AJ Lee comes out and books a tag team match for tonight featuring Daniel Bryan and Big Show vs. Cena and Punk. Teddy Long would be proud playa.
Back from break and it looks like JTG’s twitter rant paid off. He’s talking to Kaitlyn, saying Raw is three hours and he still can’t make it to Raw. He says it’s crazy...AJ’s crazy sensor goes off and gets all psycho on him. She tells him he as a match tonight and it’s next.
JTG then gets his first televised entrance on Raw in how many years?
