Commentators: Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler
The aftermath of SummerSlam begins now!
Raw gets right to it with the arrival of Paul Heyman and former WWE and UFC Champion Brock Lesnar, who broke the arm of Triple H last night at SummerSlam. Heyman says the match was uncomfortable to watch. He pauses, and then recalls how just 11 years ago, Heyman witnessed HHH tear his quadricep muscle right in front of him as he did commentary better than Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole. Yet at SummerSlam, he submitted and quit at the hands of his client Lesnar.
Lesnar stripped HHH of his pride, dignity, and such. He mentions that HHH specifically asked WWE official Scott Armstrong to bend the rules. The Armstrong Curse continues as Heyman calls out the son of Bullet Bob Armstrong and brother of "Road Dogg" Jesse James. Heyman continues to be Godly on the mic as Armstrong slowly makes his way to the ring. Heyman says Lesnar has two words for him. Lesnar simply says “Good job” and pats the official on the shoulder.
Heyman proclaims Brock Lesnar as the new King of Kings, the master of the Brocktogan, and everyone is now the conquerer of WWE. Heyman does such a good job it’s not even funny. WWE--put this man back in creative, back on TV, back on commentary, just give us more Heyman.
We will hear live from HBK Shawn Michaels via satellite later tonight.
WWE Champion CM Punk TOUTS he will pick his next opponent tonight and not Raw General Manager AJ Lee.
Trios match up is next. WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth, Lil Jimmy, and Kofi Kingston come out and hand out Brawling Buddies to the crowd. Sin Cara comes out.
