According to PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson, WWE is in the process of signing one of the best female wrestlers in the world and the exact opposite of what the company typcially looks for in its Divas division. 

Via Mike Johnson:

Sara del Rey, one of the top female stars in the world has been offered a WWE deal and is currently undergoing her pre-signing medical testing. Del Rey was one of the showcase talents for SHIMMER's Women Wrestling and had strong showings and run in both CHIKARA and Ring of Honor.

Make no mistake about it. Del Rey may not have a Barbie Doll look, but she can outwrestle most of the WWE Divas a hundred times over. She also has managerial experience from her ROH days, teaming alongside of current WWE superstar Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castognoli) and top developmental prospect Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) when they were known as the Kings of Wrestling.
