Before Smackdown, Drew McIntyre cuts a promo saying Big Show knocked some sense into him. Triple H comes out and Pedigrees him. Damn you, HHH...Let Drew celebrate his second win over his last 1,000 matches!
Friday Night Smackdown on SyFy - Taped for March 23, 2012 (SPOILERS)

1. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes out for a promo. He's predictably interrupted by his WrestleMania XXVIII opponent Sheamus. Sheamus said he'd beat him and called Bryan DANNY BOY, FELLA. This promo was underwhelming just like this feud. Two awesome superstars combine for the least interesting WrestleMania World Title program in forever--if ever. Although with time, their match could be very, very good given who's involved.
Mark Henry is backstage talking to ABRAHAM WASHINGTON (No Audio).
2. Mark Henry def. R-Truth via World's Strongest Slam. Henry recovers nicely after getting Rock Bottomed by his old Nation of Domination buddy last night. For kids under the age of 20, Wikipedia it. Thanks.
According to our reporter, Zack Ryder's dad and his friend (and Z! True Long Island Story co-star) Big O keep walking around the arena. I'm told they're "VERY ANNOYING." Not my words....Can't blame them for trying to save their boy's already dead midcard credibility though...
3. Yokozuna is confirmed for WWE Hall of Fame 2012. R.I.P.
4. An awkward yet funny backstage segment with Ryder, Smackdown GM Teddy Long, and Aksana. Ryder begged to be on Team Teddy at WrestleMania. Teddy said Eve Torres was in his head and "no." Hornswoggle came in and said the team needed a mascot. Great Khali came in BROSKI gear LOL. Teddy finally decided Zack Ryder is on Team Teddy at WrestleMania. Everyone said WOO WOO WOO YOU KNOW IT.
5. AJ Lee (w/ Daniel Bryan) def. One of The Bella Twins after miscommunication. The twins argued.
Vickie Guerrero gets insane heat before introducing her clients and Team John Laurinaitis members Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger.
6. Zack Ryder def. Swagger via Ruff Ryder.
7. WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes is interviewed backstage by Matt Striker. They recap Rhodes' boxing-themed beatdown on Big Show from RAW the night before. Rhodes says WrestleMania XXVIII is on April 1 and it's April fools--the biggest fool being Show when he loses to him.
