John Laurinaitis, GM of both RAW and Smackdown, booked a 2-on-1 handicap match.
1. Mark Henry and David Otunga killed R-Truth. Poor Truth.
Laurinaitis gave Teddy Long a job as his bitch or something. Poor Teddy.
2. No Disqualifications: Randy Orton def. Kane in a WrestleMania XXVIII rematch. Back and forth match with lots of chair shots.
3. Ryback aka the former Skip Sheffield (Ryan Reeves) killed a guy in a squash match. Good news: squash matches are back. Bad news: How many big dude monster heels does the company need? Hey, I'll take it.....
4. Daniel Bryan dumped his girlfriend AJ Lee, blaming HER for his World Heavyweight Championship loss at WrestleMania XXVIII. If you recall, Bryan kissed her and then got Brogue Kicked to hell at the PPV.
5. New WWE Intercontinental Champion Big Show killed Heath Slater. Cody Rhodes was on commentary. YES, SQUASH MATCHES! Rhodes was scared away.
6. WWE Divas: One of The Bella Twins def. Beth Phoenix after a Kelly Kelly distraction. Lots of short matches tonight. At least the Orlando crowd got plenty of bathroom breaks.
7. MAIN EVENT: Alberto Del Rio def. World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus in a non-title match via disqualification. Finish came when Del Rio brought a steel chair in the ring and referee caught Sheamus with it. Also known as the Eddie Guerrero finish circa early-mid-2000s. Presumably, Del Rio gets a title shot at Extreme Rules with the win.
According to Sorkin, this was a HORRIBLE SHOW.
Dark Match: John Cena, Randy Orton, Big Show, and Sheamus def. Cody Rhodes, Mark Henry, Kane, and Daniel Bryan.
Sorkin said he loved the dark match and it sent the fans home happy. Nice surprise appearance by Cena. Guy really does work 24/7.
