Kansas City Chiefs will improve in 2010

Kansas City Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli, formerly of the New England Patriots, has made some incredible personnel decisions the last few weeks. He has hired former Notre Dame head coach and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis. Now he has picked up the Pats' old defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel.

Crennel went 24-40 as a head coach for the Cleveland Browns, but as a defensive coordinator, he did his thing, helping New England head coach Bill Belichick win three rings last decade, alongside Weis and GM Pioli.

Chiefs Mercifully End Larry Johnson's Tenure

Years ago, Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson was one of the premier players at his position. The guy could bulldoze through just about anyone. Then came injuries, aging, and a slew of off the field issues that have hampered his once Pro Bowl portfolio.
