Steelers-Browns Preview and Photo of the Day 12/10/09

You think this fan remembers his Cleveland Browns play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night on NFL Network?

Better question: Does he care?

Hey look on the bright side! The Steelers are losers of four straight, they don't have Troy Polamalu, Big Ben's still reeling, and they've been defeated by the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs!

Can the Brown win Thursday night?

YES THEY CAN!

What?

YES THEY CAN?

What?!

Yes they can.....

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has been scratched from Sunday's game versus the 1-10 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Backup Kellen Clemens will start in his place, even though Sanchez has stated he feels healthy enough to play. Interesting?

Definitely not as interesting as the relaunch of Baywatch after the 2009 season, starring Mr. Sanchez himself. I don't know about you, but I prefer David Hasselhoff as the Mitch Bucannon in my life any day.

Gregg Rosenthal of ProFootballTalk.com:

With seven turnovers and 310 record-tying penalty yards, Monday night's Packers-Ravens game wasn't a visual masterpiece.

But the Packers will happily take the result.

Mark Sanchez injury update

Last Sunday versus the Carolina Panthers, New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez suffered a left knee injury when he was tackled to the ground. He eventually returned to the game.

Thursday night against the CFL Toronto Buffalo Bills, Sanchez injured his right knee this time while diving forward for a first down, in what could best be described as the way Pete Rose would have obtained third base in his playing days in the MLB.

2007 New York Giants: Better Than Perfect

by George H. Sirois

I've always believed that the story of the 2007 Giants should be made into a movie. Think about it. Both meetings with the Patriots in the regular season and in Super Bowl XLII, that's Rocky I & II right there!

So here's a trailer that shows what a movie would look like. The quality of the Patriots segments is low, but you get the idea...

NYDN: Ryan takes on task of turning around turnover-prone Sanchez

Amendola/AP

New York Daily News' Rich Cimini writes about Jets coach Rex Ryan and how he will take a more hands-on approach to improve his turnover prone rookie quarterback, Mark Sanchez.

Another loss, another shakeup by Rex Ryan.
