WWE SmackDown Live 12/12/17 Highlights and Results:

Jinder Mahal and Singh Brothers sneak attacked WWE Champion AJ Styles ahead of Clash of Champions

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair def. Ruby Riott via Disqualification in a non-title match. Flair vs. Riott rematch set for Tribute to The Troops. Lana, Tamina Snuka, Natalya, Naomi, and Ms. MITB Carmella, as well as Riott Squad members Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan.

Dolph Ziggler def. WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin via Disqualification in a non-title match. “Glorious” Bobby Roode interfered.

Bludgeon Brothers (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) def. Colin Delaney and Joe Monroe. Yes, THAT Colin Delaney of WWECW fame! Monroe had the most hilarious scream as Harper and Rowan destroyed him.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn attempted and failed to Occupy SmackDown with the “Yep Movement.”

SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan interrupted them and named himself as the second special guest referee for their tag team match with Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura at Clash of Champions. Shane McMahon won’t be happy.

Rusev and Aiden English def. WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a non-title match. Shelton Benjamin, Chad Gable, and The New Day were at ringside.

Kevin Owens def. Shinsuke Nakamura

Overall, a decent, watchable episode of SmackDown Live that served its purpose to hype Clash of Champions, but definitely not at the in-ring level of Monday Night Raw. The Bludgeon Brothers’ squash match was the best one since Braun Strowman vs. James Ellsworth.
